About Novi Sad
The City of Novi Sad, the capital of the autonomous province of Vojvodina, lying on the banks of the Danube river, in the south of the Pannonian plain, facing the slopes of Fruška Gora (17 culturally and historically significant monasteries). In addition, there are 17th-century Petrovaradin Fortress, appealing old city center, numerous museums, prestigious Novi Sad Fair, as well as many world famous festivals and events.
